12 July 2016   Publicado por Mireia

Warner Bros has unveiled its full game plan for its annual Hall H presentation at Comic-Con this month, when the studio will roll out cast, creatives and more from its upcoming slate of Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, The Lego Batman Movie, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Kong: Skull Island and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Conan O’Brien, already in town to tape shows Wednesday-Saturday from the convention for Warner Bros’ corporate sibling TBS, will moderate the Warners panel, set for 11:30 AM Saturday (July 23) in the cavernous convention center main room. Confirmed guests (we had already sussed out Tom Hiddleston for Skull Island) include Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Eddie Redmayne, Colin Farrell, Charlie Hunnam and Will Arnett.

Here is the studio’s breakdown of its attendees:
Wonder Woman: Gal Gadot, Chris Pine and Connie Nielsen and director Patty Jenkins.

Chris Pine has closed a deal to play Steve Trevor in “Wonder Woman”
29 July 2015   Publicado por Mireia

Patty Jenkins is directing the comic book movie for Warner Bros., which will release the film in 2017

Chris Pine has closed a deal to play Steve Trevor opposite Gal Gadot in “Wonder Woman,” TheWrap has learned. Pine joins the DC Movie Universe in a multi-picture deal that includes sequel options, according to insiders.

Steve Trevor will be no mere love interest for Gadot’s Diana Prince, as there will be plenty of action to keep him busy, though plot details remain under wraps.

There had been speculation that Pine was up for a role in WB’s upcoming “Green Lantern Corps” and that the “Wonder Woman” rumors were just a smokescreen, but that particular popular fanboy theory proved to be unfounded.

Patty Jenkins is directing “Wonder Woman,” which Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are producing with Charles Roven and Richard Suckle of Atlas Entertainment. Jason Fuchs wrote the script after working with Warner Bros. on Joe Wright’s “Pan.”

Wonder Woman will be introduced in next year’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” before her solo movie hits theaters on June 23, 2017.
